One of the best Warwickshire pubs tucked away in the heart of an unspoilt Warwickshire’s village Avon Dassett near Dassett Hills, only 5 minutes from Banbury The Avon hums with life all year long, with flagstone flooring & roaring log fire. A favourite with the villagers, ladies who lunch and business lunch, people alike who use it variously as a watering-hole, the place for a spot of lunch or a celebration dinner. Ideal if your visiting Cropredy Festival, or taking a leisurely walk with a great pub walk around the Dassett Hills.

Our secret? We take huge pride in serving the freshest, finest and where possible local ingredients and freshly prepared to order, we are also famous for our "64 Ways to Eat Pie".

Either to accompany your meal or just to enjoy a relaxing drink you can choose from selected wines, cask ales, lagers, spirits and soft drinks.
A regularly changing selection of real ales, and guest beers can be enjoyed. We also have a fine choice of malt whiskies, liqueurs and spirits.
This traditional inn selection is complemented by our extensive and carefully chosen wine list, with several wines available by the glass.
If alcohol is not your choice, the coffee and tea are always being freshly brewed for a warm welcome after a day exploring the delights Dassett Hills, Farnborough Lake and the surrounding area.
Why not set a walking party up starting and finishing at The Avon many already do with a pre-orders taken & your lunch ready for your given time.
Ideal if your visiting Cropredy Festival, or taking a leisurely walk around.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
