News Gluten Free Choice Gluten free menus is hard to find if you are a gluten free eater or have Coeliac disease, it can stop friends or family gatherings eating out as they struggle to find restaurants to cater for all their needs or have to take there own food in. As always we have listened to the needs of our customers and have incorporated Gluten Free choice into our menus. With the help of Coeliac UK and our suppliers, we are able to offer Gluten free bread with our soups, pastas, salads and curries this range we will be increasing over time. Soap Box Derby Saturday 13th June 2010
The Avon annual Soap Box Derby took place on Saturday 12th June 2010. With two starting points this years, seniors - top of the hill & amateurs - next the church. Entry was £10.00 or sponsorship with all proceeds going to Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. The fun started at 3pm with live music, hog roast. We are still waiting on pledges & sponsorship money to come in, but we believe money raised will be over £3,500 what a great day had by all. ------------ 64 Ways To Eat Pie is Back!!!!!! Due to popular demand our famous pie's are back (one customer travelled from Portsmouth recently). Steve, Sammy and the team would like to thank all for a great day Soapbox 2006 & 2007 -------------------- THE DASSETT DANGLERS With a great sing-along on some Saturdays, Steve the landlord locals Vic, Andy Hetherington & Peter Wallace decided raise money for the local Air Ambulance a great local cause by recording c.d priced at £5.50, with £5.00 proceeds to Air Ambulance Warwickshire & Northamptonshire - songs include This is no. 1, Fields of Anthenry, Wild Rover, Crocodile Rock. Sales in the first week was 65 c.d's not bad for a quaint little Warwickshire village. --------------------
